After !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , Red Bull is so confident in Vettel securing his 4th championship they are preparing him special edition FX50.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
When asked about his new ride for the race, Vettel seemed delighted,
"Oh yes, this will suit me well. It has a horn that I can blast at the
Marussias and Caterhams for when they get in my way. I can also wave my
signature finger out the window when I win."
Horner decided that it would be a better strategy
for Webber to race in a standard FX40. He said, "Not only will
this give him (Vettel) a better race strategy, but Webber should have
gotten around Grosjean."
Mercedes is preparing two AMG ML63's for the race in order to counter the Red Bull FX's.

So funny that Infiniti doesn't have a proper sports car, so they have to soup up a FX50 for Vettel when he wins. If the GTR was badged as an Infiniti then they could have given him a special edition GTR that would be a proper gift for an F1 driver.

Infiniti doesn't have a proper sports car? Sorry, I didn't realize the G37/Q60 wasn't a proper sports car. I don't think that's what this is about anyway, considering Mercedes is bringing ML63's when they have the SLS. Or are none of the AMG's proper sports cars either?

IMO the G37/Q60 is not a proper sports car, especially not one fitting for the best F1 driver in the world right now. It's a sports sedan. If Infiniti made a track-focused version in the same mold of BMW M or Mercedes AMG then that would be one thing. But the G37/Q60 are luxury sports sedans meant for commuting.
But that is true that this marketing exercise might be more about luxury than sport, since Infiniti souped up the FX50 and Mercedes is bringing an ML63. Luxury SUVs that are modded for speed are all the rage these days. I just know if I was Vettel I would ask for a one-off special edition GTR.

For comparison Hamilton got this. So yeah it's lame.
Edit: promising a storied nameplate to tempt your driver.

No, he would have, had he won both the driver's and constructor's championships.

Alright dipshit. The Q60 is a coupe, a 370z with different body and interior. It is the very definition of a sports car you knuckle dragging moron. They do have a performance model called the IPL.
The whole "exercise" does not have fucking anything to do with sports cars anyway, stop trying to make it something it's not. Vettel can ask for a one-off GT-R any fucking time he wants, but that's not the point of this.
